Moo House and the Cow Shed
Our New Large House Party/Large Family Get Together Venue!!
Moo House is a newly renovated stone barn conversion at Tughall Steads, a hamlet situated on an organic coastal farm, only 5 minutes drive from the beaches of Beadnell and Newton-by-the-Sea. It is aptly named, as the building was formerly a cow byre! Our other 4 cottages at Tughall - The Granary, Hemmel, Glebe Cottage and Garden Cottage - have already proved extremely popular and this new addition is attracting a lot of attention, especially for large family groups and house parties! Moo House sleeps 10 plus several cots, with 5 bedrooms and 4 bathrooms (two beds and shower rooms on the ground floor offering good disabled access), and plenty of parking spaces. The house is light, bright and airy and furnished to a 5-star standard. With large lounge and spacious kitchen/diner, floor to ceiling windows, log burner, comfy sofas, 32" television, CD player, king size beds, courtyard garden with table and chairs, and walled garden with BBQ equipment, we've got it covered for the perfect break!
Moo House has just been awarded a 5 star grade by VisitBritain 2007!
THE COW SHED
Exclusively available to residents of Moo House, there is the opportunity to use the newly renovated Cow Shed, which adjoins the garden of Moo House - a perfect games room/ chill out zone....complete with full size pool table and table football/air hockey, sofas, music and books. Guests can use the Cow Shed as a games room, garden room or somewhere to escape to for a bit of quiet TV watching or book reading. There is a TV/DVD/CD player with a great selection of CDs and DVDs to satisfy everyone's tastes!

PRICES
From as little as £17 per person per night, hiring Moo House can be an extremely cost effective way of having a 5 star venue for a group booking!
Have a look at our Holiday Prices page but as a guideline, Moo House can be booked for £1800 in the summer season 2007 and £1100 in the low season 2007/08. We can offer off peak short breaks for an inclusive price of £999
For smaller groups of up to 6 guests plus cots, we can offer Moo House as a smaller, 3 bedroom property at certain times of the year - from Nov 2007 - end of March 2008 (excluding Xmas and New Year weeks. The two large ground floor bedrooms and one en-suite bathroom will not be available for use when these types of bookings are made. The prices for Moo House as a 3 bedroom property will be the same as for the Granary, which also has 3 bedrooms. To make a booking at Moo House on this basis, please make the booking over the phone, as our on-line booking system cannot currently offer this discount.
From £17 - £25 per person per night for 5 star level luxury!!
There are no booking fees, no agency fees, no VAT, no compulsory insurance, no meter readings and no charges for linen and towels. Moo House prices are fully inclusive and we don't take offence when you use the extra logs or take the designer toiletries home with you! Our prices include complimentary wine, magazines, mineral water, Northumbrian biscuits and even sweets for the children in your party! Free broadband WiFi access so if you have to...bring your laptop!
