Adjoining , The Granary, this cottage retains so much of the character of the original farm steading, with its huge original roof trusses and hemmel arches which have been carefully blended in to the conversion design. Here, rustic architecture sits comfortably next to contemporary but cosy style. Add to this, a splendid professionally designed garden with gazebo and patio area and the context of this peaceful farm hamlet, and this makes a wonderful holiday retreat.

 

Downstairs the living room offers comfortable stylish seating with an enamel gas burner stove within a feature stone fireplace. The kitchen/ diner is light and airy with a blend of white painted, and oak and leather furniture and a floor-to-ceiling door leading you out to the garden. Upstairs, all beds are oak with a king, a double and a single bedroom, served by a family bathroom with separate shower. There is a large landing that will appeal to children, as it is set up as a chill out reading area with views over the front courtyard and to the fields beyond.
